Calendars fill up with meetings, projects, dashboards and launches. What often goes missing is focus, a shared and clear sense of the question all that work is supposed to answer.<\/p>\n\n

Odak means focus in Turkish, and we chose the name because focus is a useful place to begin. Understand the question, learn from evidence, and put effort behind the next decision. Startups and established enterprises both work through the same three steps.<\/p>\n\n

1. Frame the question<\/h2>\n\n

Make the business challenge specific. Know whose problem you are solving and why it matters. “How do we grow?” is an ambition. “Why do customers in this segment stop using us after the first month?” is a question you can work on. A better question is often the most valuable thing a team produces in its first week. Clarity comes before activity.<\/p>\n\n

2. Test the possibility<\/h2>\n\n

Every plan contains assumptions. Put them in front of customers, evidence and the realities of your organization. A large study is unnecessary. Choose the assumption that matters most and find a fast, honest way to check it. Commit only after the evidence is in.<\/p>\n\n

3. Make the next move<\/h2>\n\n

Use what you learned to pick a practical next step with a clear owner and a way to assess progress. A full roadmap can wait. Then repeat. Think of strategy as a string of focused decisions.<\/p>\n\n

Two paths, one focus<\/h2>\n\n

A founder building something new asks what must be true for the venture to work. A leader changing an established business asks where a different way of working would create value. The questions differ. The method starts in the same place, wherever you are.<\/p>\n\n
